In August of 2015 I bought a very nice Henry J that was very complete and rust-free, but missing the drivetrain. Well, I finally have it registered and running pretty well. It still needs a few things, but it's highway driveable, and I drove it to work today. It's a '52 (or '53, opintions differ, but the title says '52). I swapped out the original grill for the '51 style grill. It has a Buick 215ci aluminum V8, with a T-5 manual transmission. The rear axle is a Chevy 10-bolt, and I have GM S10 disk brakes adapted to the original front spindles. I did document the build on the KFclub.com forum here: http://kfclub.com/ Jesse's Henry J |
