B2B Heart of Michigan Tour 2012 This year was great, just about every city we went to had
a big party and special events. Cadillac closed down main street for the event.
I am told that it's been more the 8 years since that has happened. Grayling
had a tent party with live bands downtown and the Owner of Fred Bears former home
opened his doors for the first time ever for tours. So many great times and
fun people were along the route that it's hard for me to remember or mention them
all. All I can say is if you didn't have a good time every day, it was your
own fault. I can't say enough to every city and every person that stepped up that
made this event great. Some small towns some individuals along the way. The
Allstate made the entire 1200 miles for this trip without an issue I cannot wait
for next years Tour.. |
Along the way I did a lot of small shop, shopping and in one Art store I saw an artists
work hanging on the wall. Scott Buckmaster. His automotive art was unique
and it really stuck me as something I wanted to buy. I inquired about the
artist from the shop owner and she said he is local and just outside the door
(Cadallac Main street) I found him working on another piece for another customer.
I had to have him draw my car after knowing he does customers cars! In the
end I had him draw two of them for me. One of me running my Allstate Kalamazoo
Speedway raceway the other of my dad's J that was there to. One of the stops on
our tour of the Heart of Michigan. |
