LARRY HENDERSON Date: 11/04/2009 Some pics of the painting of the frame, inner front fender linings & all of the interior pieces. I believe he has the entire car painted now and will have it put back together enough for me to go up to Idaho and pick it up. The paint color is a year 2000 Mercedes Bright Silver metallic by PPG. It is the relatively new type waterbourne paint from PPG. It has been around quite awhile I guess but used mostly over in Europe until recently. I understand it is fast becoming the type a lot of painters are now using, and it is easier to spot in or repair any areas that might get damaged or scratched. It still gets the standard type clear coat over the waterbourne color coat just like the conventional 2 stage paint process and then color sanded and buffed to the final finish.
