Fiberglass Henry J

Complete bodies will soon be available.

Henry Alexander, will be making available a fiberglass version of the Henry J based on  his Mid Life Crisis J, redesigned and modified for more options. Right now the Henry is being prepped and readied for making the molds with the first body to be produced very soon. With a possible spring 2007 release date.

Basic idea:The fiberglass body will have all of the dimensions of a Standard Trunk model, Steel body Henry J, but will have the changes that are in the original Midlife Crisis car. All the body features, radiused wheel wells and a recessed firewall to name a few. There will be some more but these will make it better for the Hot Rodders. Most of the J will be manufactured in fiberglass, steel and other materials used, if available for trim and other small parts. Some body options will follow after the first few bodies are made, depending on demand. Items such as a No trunk model, Standard Wheel radius, and original roll pan for those who like that look or are building a street rod.

Many considerations will be taken into account to provide structure and reinforced hard points for mounting hardware doors etc. as well as fit and finish. So the Fiberglass Henry J will last a very long time.

The basic package: Will include a black powder coated chassis that is decked out with a stright axle front end and Ford 9" rear, on ladder bars similar to the 60's and like the Mid Life Crisis car with a few changes to make the Henry J more streetable, such as Front Disk Brakes. A tilt front end, a tubular driveshaft loop, engine and transmission mounts already installed will also be part of the basic package.

I'm told there will be a entire host of Chassis options and add-ons available as a package deal. These will include, upgraded brakes, improved steering setups, basic gauges and wiring, Roll cage, fuel cell etc.

There is a high demand for the steel version of the Henry J, but good bodies and parts are a limitation that any builder of a Henry J has quickly found out. Many have found that high-end steel bodies and parts are difficult to find. Now there will be a Fiberglass version no rust and no surprises under layers of paint
.

The cost of the basic package "Body and Chassis", should be around
$20,000 + shipping and chosen options.
