Vehicle Description

Here is my 1952 Henry J  Corsair Deluxe. It has the six cylinder, three speed manual transmission, no overdrive. This car runs well, is very dependable, always starts right up,goes down the road fairly well for a car it's age. This vehicle is an OLDER amature restoration that is showing it's wear. It is starting to rust through on the bottom of the doors, and one spot on the quarter panel had been  inadequately repaired and is now swelling up and cracking the paint. The roof is in poor shape, mostly from being under a heavy cotton car cover for the past six years( I Have no gararge) the old laquer paint has checked-cracked-and chipped. Basically this car needs body work and paint, It is a true 20 footer. Mechanically it's fine, I've taken this c ar to many car shows and cruise nights, and it is always an attraction, everyone knows a story about a Henry J. This car was a consistent trophy winner back when I first got it in 1999, and with some body work and paint, It will be again. The chrome is mostly in excellent shape with the exception of one spot on the bumper. The interior is excellent, no rips or tears anywhere including the headliner, although the windlace and weatherstripping could use a little help. I have too many cars, too many kids and not enough time to bring this sweetheart back to it's once proud state. I've wrestled with this desicion for a while, and I feel it's best for someone else to give this car the love it so badly needs and wants.
