Ed Lopes's "Blood,Sweat and Tears" Henry J Click here for updates on finding the original builder About a year ago I bought a '51 Henry J Gasser. It's a beautiful orange all steel body car in pristine condition. I attended a cruise night at the NHRA museum in Pomona, Ca. last Dec. They moved a couple of cars and asked me to park it at the front entrance of the museum (quite an honor). I've kept it in the same race trim as when it ran in the '60's and '70's, but the car is totally street legal. Here's my question. How do I go about finding some history on this car? Many people tell me they have seen it run in the past. It has decals from Minnesota Dragways, Irwindale Raceway (CA.) and Lions Dragstrip (Ca.). It ran under the banner of Lowell, Peterson and Lowell out of Proctor Minn. The car is called "Blood,Sweat and Tears" I would appreciate any help you or your web readers might give me.
