For the age, this car is in pretty good condition. It would make a great project. It has been stored in his shop since 1962. It was parked because a rod went out of the motor. It has the orginal flat head 6 in it [which is locked up now]. The transmission is a 3-speed manual with overdrive. Everything worked when the car was parked, except the broken headlight. The back seat folds down. The title says it has 23 hp. The radiator isn't in it ,but he has 2 that go with it. Also he has an extra head, rods, pistons, overdrive parts, oil pump screens, water pump, air breathers, fan & generator. It has 2 of the original wheels, 2 of the original baby moons & 2 others Vehicle Condition When the car was parked it had a rod out of the motor. The motor is now locked up from sitting so long. As you can see in the pictures, the rocker panels are rusted out & you may have to replace part of the floor board where they are attached. The passenger side windshield is broke, so is the back side glass. The wing glass on the driver side has a small crack. There is a dent in the drivers door. A small hole rusted through on the back fender. Part of the hood ornament is missing. The V in Vagabond on both sides of the front fenders are missing. The interior is in very good condition except the drivers seat is ripped. The head liner is still intact & looks great. As you can see by the pictures, the rest of the interior looks great. Oh, by the way, I wouldn't trust the tires to go down the block. |
