Subject: cutting rear wheel wells From: Bondojoker@aol.com Date: Tue, June 15, 2004 5:08 pm To: Mike@henryjcars.com Just wanted to drop you a line to show you how i made a tool to use to mark the quarter panels for cutting wheel wells. i used a piece of 5/8 wood dowel, welding rod and a marksalot. bend welding rod around dowel one time then measure half the tire height you will be using and then bend other end of welding rod around dowel 2 times (holds marksalot better) then hold wood dowel level and centered in rear axle and draw arch. when doing other side measure down from top of quarter panel to make sure they come out the same. see pictures Thanks Tracy V.
