It has the original Sears data plate on the cowl. Here's the goods: New paint, seats, door panels, engine overhaul, 12 volt conversion, very, very straight body with no exterior rust. Trunk floor solid. Runs and drives good. Brakes are good. Here's the bad: Front floorboard has been patched with sheetmetal. That works ok, but it doesn't look very pretty. Needs headliner. Needs most flat glass and window rubbers. (rear window is good). Bumpers are a little dinged. Grille is dented. No exterior Allstate emblems. Needs parking light lenses and tail light lenses. Never had a radio or heater. Paint looks good, but won't win any shows, as it has a few runs. Alternator works good, but the add on wiring is amateurish and could look a lot better. Needs tires. No hubcaps. Missing one hood spring. It does have 4 original wheels, but no spare or jack. Steering wheel has a few small cracks. This could easily be a very nice car. Less than 400 were made in 1953. Most Henry J parts fit, but the grilles and parking lights were different. I can help with transport. The car is 100 miles northwest of Dallas. Tx.
